Joel Andrew Blunden - Drums & Vocals

Joel is a professional drummer who has been playing since the age of 11. Over the years, he has built a career around his passion for music, performing in bands and developing a diverse portfolio of work within the music industry.
Throughout his career, Joel has performed across the UK at major festivals and live events. One of the bands he previously performed with appeared at both Glastonbury Festival and Standon Calling, sharing line-ups with artists such as The Pigeon Detectives, Kate Nash and Rag'n'Bone Man. Alongside his professional work, Joel continues to write and perform original music, including an ongoing passion project with his brother Adam, a guitarist.
In addition to live performance, Joel records professional drum tracks remotely from his studio and runs a thriving drum school with more than 50 students. The school has grown to the point where it now employs two additional teachers, allowing Joel to mentor and support a wider community of aspiring drummers.
As part of his work as an educator, Joel has hosted and performed at masterclasses and drum clinics, collaborating with respected drummers including Richard Hawking (Hacktivist), Calvin Davidson (High Fade), Adam Gammage (touring drummer for Tom Grennan) and Beanie Bhebhe from Rudimental.
Joel also maintains working relationships with several leading drum brands, including Sonor, and is proudly endorsed by Amedia Cymbals and Balbex Drumsticks.
Outside of music, Joel is a proud father and partner to Danni. When time allows, he enjoys songwriting and composing, and has recently taken up indoor bouldering — a hobby that provides a welcome challenge away from the drum kit.
